Couture excellence workshop and exclusive sales for women artisans.
KANVO Digital 2028 is the couture excellence workshop and exclusive sales programme for women artisans, organised every year by NVBB (In Benin). The NVBB (In Benin) team identifies the textile artisans listed in the National Register of Artisans (RNA) of CMA-Bénin (branch 5: Textiles and clothing) and launches the cohort.
NVBB (In Benin) supports the cohort with capacity building and the gender impact audit (SDG 5), then checks the quality of each finished piece at the workshop. NVBB then offers the pieces for exclusive sale on nenthol.nl: when NVBB buys the piece, the artisan receives 100% of the agreed price; on consignment, 85% of the sale price.
Women artisans scouted by NVBB (In Benin), verified in the CMA-Bénin RNA register or supported towards registration; gender approach (SDG 5).
Hand-woven Kanvo, cutting and assembly at the couture excellence workshop; fabrics sold as they are or made into bags sewn in Heerlen.
Quality check by NVBB (In Benin) and exclusive sale on nenthol.nl: 100% of the agreed price on purchase, 85% of the sale price on consignment.
